Countdown Timer Overview

A countdown timer is a live, animated clock you place inside an Edition. It counts down to a deadline you set and shows a fallback message once time is up. Use it when an Author wants to add urgency to a Broadcast — for example, a registration close, a sale end, or an event start.

What you can do here​

  • Set a target date and time for the timer to count down to.
  • Style the timer's appearance so it matches your Edition's design.
  • Place the timer anywhere in an Edition's layout.
  • Choose what recipients see once the deadline passes.
