Timed Image Overview

A timed image is an interactive element that swaps automatically depending on when a subscriber opens the Edition, so the same Broadcast can show different visuals over its lifetime. Authors use timed images to keep content fresh — counting down to a deadline, revealing an offer at a set time, or showing an "expired" graphic once a window closes — without resending.

What you can do here

  • Schedule which image displays during each time window after a Broadcast is sent.
  • Show a countdown or "starts soon / live now / ended" sequence that updates on open.
  • Fall back to a default image once the schedule runs out.
  • Place a timed image anywhere in an Edition alongside your other content.

Start here

  1. Add a Timed Image to an Edition — schedule your images and place the element in an Edition.
