About gated content and sign-on

Gated content lets you keep a microsite private, so visitors must sign on before they can view it. Use this area when a site holds audience-specific or confidential material and you want to control who sees it — and, once a visitor is signed on, tailor what each person sees.

What you can do here

  • Turn on gated access so visitors must sign on before viewing a site.
  • Choose how visitors sign on, from single sign-on (SSO) to other supported methods.
  • Connect sign-on to your identity provider, such as SSO with Microsoft Entra ID (setup lives in Administration).
  • Show or hide specific content based on who the signed-on visitor is.
  • Give different subscribers a personalized view of the same site.
