Create a reusable widget
A reusable widget is a self-contained block of content — a call-to-action banner, a signup form, a survey prompt, a footer — that you build once and drop into many pages or Editions. When you update the saved widget, every place that references it can pick up the change, so you keep branding and messaging consistent without rebuilding the same block by hand.
Before you begin
- Decide what the widget should contain (text, image, button, form, or interactive element) and where you expect to reuse it.
- Have any linked assets ready: images, destination URLs, and any personalization tokens you want to include.
- Confirm you have permission to create and save shared/library content in your account. (confirm the exact steps in your account)
Steps
- Open the microsite or experience editor and add the block you want to reuse, then arrange its content and styling until it looks final.
- Select the block and choose the option to save it as a reusable widget (sometimes called a saved block, snippet, or library item). (confirm the exact steps in your account)
- Give the widget a clear, descriptive name so teammates can find it later — include its purpose, e.g. "Newsletter signup — 2026 brand."
- Add any personalization tokens the widget needs so they resolve for each subscriber when it is used.
- Save the widget to your shared library, then insert it into another page or Edition to confirm it appears as expected.
Result
The widget is stored in your library and available to insert anywhere it is supported. Insert it in a second location and check that content, links, and styling match the original.
