Verify your domain authentication
Confirm that SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are correctly configured and showing as verified before you send from your domain. Authenticated domains improve inbox placement and let subscribers trust that a Broadcast really came from you.
Before you begin
- Admin access to your account's sending-domain or deliverability settings (confirm the exact steps in your account).
- Access to your domain's DNS zone (or a colleague who manages it) so you can add or check records.
- The DNS values supplied for your sending domain: the SPF include, the DKIM selector record, and a DMARC policy record.
- Allow time for DNS changes to propagate — this can take from a few minutes up to 24–48 hours.
Steps
- Open your sending-domain settings and select the domain you want to check.
- Start the verification (there is usually a Verify or Check records action). The platform queries public DNS and reports each record's status.
- Review each result:
- SPF — confirms our servers are authorized to send for your domain.
- DKIM — confirms your messages are cryptographically signed with the expected selector.
- DMARC — confirms a policy record exists telling receivers how to handle unauthenticated mail.
- For any record shown as missing or mismatched, copy the expected value from the settings page and add or correct it in your DNS zone. Keep the value exactly as shown.
- Wait for propagation, then run the check again until all three report as verified.
Result
All three records show a verified (green) status. Your domain is authenticated, and Broadcasts sent from it are signed and aligned for better inbox placement.
