View Poll Results
Once a Broadcast containing a poll goes out, votes are recorded as subscribers respond. This page shows where to find live vote counts and the breakdown of responses per answer option.
Before you begin
- You need an Edition that includes a poll and has been sent as a Broadcast (or a test send, if your account records test votes).
- Confirm you have permission to view reporting for the Folder that holds the Edition.
- Allow a short delay after the send — counts update as subscribers open the email and vote, so early numbers will keep climbing. (confirm the exact steps in your account)
Steps
- Open the Folder (Project Folder) that contains the Edition, and select the Edition you sent.
- Go to the reporting or results view for that Broadcast.
- Locate the poll within the report. Each poll shows its question and every answer option.
- Read the per-option results: the vote count and percentage for each answer, plus the total number of responses.
- Optionally filter by date or segment, or export the results for sharing, if those options are available. (confirm the exact steps in your account)
Result
You can see how many subscribers voted, which answer options were most popular, and the overall response total for the poll. Numbers refresh as more subscribers respond, so revisit the report over the hours and days after the Broadcast.
