Connect a custom domain

By default, a Microsite is served from a platform-provided address. Connecting a custom domain (for example, go.yourbrand.com) lets subscribers see your own brand in the URL, builds trust, and keeps landing pages consistent with the rest of your web presence.

Before you begin

  • A domain (or subdomain) you control, plus access to its DNS records — usually through your registrar or DNS provider.
  • The Microsite you want to publish under the custom domain, already created and ready to go live.
  • The custom-domain settings in your account, where you'll register the hostname and read back the DNS values to create. (Confirm the exact steps in your account.)
  • Decide on the exact hostname. A subdomain such as pages.yourbrand.com is typical and easiest to point.

Steps

  1. Open the custom-domain settings for your Microsite and add the hostname you want to use.
  2. The platform shows one or more DNS records to create — commonly a CNAME (or equivalent) pointing your hostname at the platform, plus a validation record. Copy these exact values. (Confirm the record types and targets shown in your account.)
  3. In your DNS provider, create the records exactly as shown. Leave the default TTL unless you have a reason to change it.
  4. Return to the platform and start verification. DNS changes can take from a few minutes up to 24–48 hours to propagate.
  5. Once verified, a secure certificate (HTTPS) is issued automatically. Assign the domain to your Microsite and publish.

Result

Your Microsite loads over your own hostname with a valid HTTPS padlock, and the address bar shows your brand instead of the platform default. Visit the URL in a private browser window to confirm.
