Verify your domain

Confirm domain ownership and enable a secure connection so your microsites and landing pages load on your own custom domain (for example, pages.yourcompany.com) rather than a shared platform address.

Before you begin​

  • Access to your domain's DNS provider (or a colleague who can add DNS records for you).
  • The custom domain already added in your account's domain settings (confirm the exact steps in your account).
  • The verification records shown for your domain — typically a TXT record to prove ownership and a CNAME record that points your subdomain at the platform.
  • A short wait: DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to 24–48 hours to propagate.

Steps​

  1. Open the custom domains area and select the domain you want to verify.
  2. Copy the TXT ownership record (name/host and value) shown for that domain.
  3. In your DNS provider, add the TXT record exactly as shown. Do not alter the value.
  4. Add the CNAME record for your subdomain, pointing it to the target host provided in your account.
  5. Save the DNS changes and allow time for them to propagate.
  6. Return to the domain settings and choose Verify (or Check). The platform re-reads your DNS and confirms the records.
  7. Once verified, a secure connection (HTTPS/TLS certificate) is provisioned automatically. This may take a few extra minutes (confirm the exact steps in your account).

Result​

The domain shows a Verified (and Secure) status, and content published to it loads over https:// with no certificate warnings. Broadcasts and Editions that link to microsites on this domain now use your branded address.
