Write and Rewrite Copy with AI
AI Assist helps you draft new copy from a short prompt or rework text you already have — shortening, lengthening, adjusting tone, or fixing grammar — so you can move an Edition from blank page to review faster. The AI produces suggestions; you stay in control and decide what to keep.
Before you begin
- You need edit access to an Edition and a content block (or text field) where the copy will live.
- Have a clear intent for the copy: the subscriber action you want, the key points to include, and the tone (for example, friendly, formal, urgent).
- Confirm AI Assist is enabled for your account. If you don't see the option, ask your admin (confirm the exact steps in your account).
- Treat AI output as a first draft: always review for accuracy, brand voice, and compliance before you send a Broadcast.
Steps
- Open the Edition and place your cursor in the text block you want to write or change.
- Open the AI Assist option for that block (confirm the exact steps in your account).
- To draft new copy, type a short prompt describing the message, audience, and tone, then generate.
- To rework existing text, select the passage first, then choose an action such as rewrite, shorten, lengthen, change tone, or fix grammar.
- Review the suggestion. Regenerate or refine your prompt until it fits, then insert or replace the text.
- Edit the inserted copy directly to finalize wording, add personalization tags, and check any links.
Result
Your block contains reviewed, on-brand copy that you wrote or refined with AI, ready for proofing and a test send before you schedule the Broadcast.
