Upload Images and Files
Add images and file uploads to the media library so they can be reused across Editions. Once an asset is in the library, it gets a stable hosted URL and can be inserted into any Edition without re-uploading each time.
Before you begin
- Confirm you have permission to add media in your account. If you don't see an upload option, ask your account admin.
- Prepare your files. Use web-friendly image formats (such as JPG, PNG, or GIF) and keep dimensions and file size reasonable so emails load quickly for subscribers.
- Know where your assets belong. If your library supports folders, decide which folder each file should live in (confirm the exact steps in your account).
- Check your account's per-file size limit before uploading large PDFs or attachments.
Steps
- Open the media library from the content-authoring area of your account.
- Choose the option to add or upload new media (confirm the exact label in your account).
- Select one or more files from your computer, or drag and drop them into the upload area.
- Wait for each upload to finish and for a thumbnail or file entry to appear.
- Optionally give the asset a clear name and add it to a folder so it's easy to find later.
- Save or confirm to add the files to the library.
Result
Your files appear in the media library with thumbnails (for images) and a hosted link. You can now insert them into an Edition, and any Broadcast built from that Edition will reference the hosted copy.
