Add calls to action to a Post
A call to action (CTA) is the button or link that tells a subscriber what to do next — read more, register, download, reply, or share. This guide shows an Author how to add one or more CTAs to a Post so readers can respond in a single tap.
Before you begin
- Have the Post you want to edit open in the editor. (Confirm the exact steps in your account.)
- Decide the destination for each CTA: an external URL, a microsite page, a form, or a survey.
- Prepare short, action-led button text (for example, "Register now" or "Read the guide"). Aim for 2–4 words.
- If you want to measure response, confirm that link tracking is enabled for the Post so clicks are captured in reporting.
Steps
- In the Post editor, place your cursor where the CTA should appear and insert a button or link block from the content toolbar. (Confirm the exact steps in your account.)
- Enter the button label using clear, action-led text.
- Set the destination — paste the target URL, or choose a microsite page, form, or survey from the picker.
- Adjust the appearance (color, size, alignment) so the CTA stands out but matches your brand.
- To add more than one action, repeat for each button and keep the most important CTA first.
- Preview the Post, then send yourself a test to confirm each link opens the correct destination.
Result
The Post now shows one or more tappable CTAs. When a subscriber clicks, they are taken to the destination you set, and — with tracking enabled — the click is recorded so you can compare CTA performance in reporting.
