Create a Post
A Post is a single piece of content — an article, announcement, or update — published to your microsite. This page walks an Author through writing, formatting, and publishing one.
Before you begin
- Make sure you have a microsite (or experience) set up to hold the Post. If you don't, create the site first.
- Confirm you have edit or publishing permission for that site.
- Gather your content: headline, body text, and any images or links you plan to include.
- Decide whether this Post should go live immediately or be scheduled for later.
Steps
- Open the microsite where the Post belongs and choose to add a new Post. (confirm the exact steps in your account)
- Enter a title. This usually becomes the Post's heading and part of its web address, so keep it clear and descriptive.
- Write the body using the content editor. Use the formatting controls for headings, bold, lists, and links to keep the Post skimmable.
- Add images or other media where they help. Include descriptive alt text so the Post stays accessible.
- Set any details the site uses to organize content — for example a category, tag, author name, or publish date.
- Preview the Post to check how it looks to a subscriber on both desktop and mobile.
- Save as a draft to keep working, or publish to make it live. You can also schedule it for a future date if your site supports scheduling.
Result
The Post appears on your microsite at its own address and in any list or feed the site uses. Open the live URL in a separate browser tab to confirm the layout, links, and images all render as expected.
